Welcome to Quick Natural Light Photography! I’m Matt Quick. This is my e-shingle. I specialize in professional headshots and modeling comp cards in tne Northern VA/DC/MD area although I will travel for three or more people:).

Headshot and model photography remains my focus because people are always growing and changing. People tell the landscape of their experience through their expression.

As a photographer I find the true artist stands before my lens and I become the unlikely scribe. In an official position, the scribe strives to not alter but instead be satisfied with whatever presents. To this I aspire.

The perfect natural light image for an actor and model captures the essence of a single moment in time. A thought sparkling through the eyes, a kind smile, or even a distant shyness reveals an individual truth. This is the stuff of compelling images. Honest personality in all forms gets people cast and into print.

Photographing actors and models is a shared endeavor. To that end, here are some “Matt Facts”:

• My first childhood memory is my Grandmother's fiery red hair set against a vivid blue sky. For this reason I like saturated colors.
• Similar to photography, jazz and playing music are lifelong passions.
• I love the outdoors. This is another reason for my focus on natural light.
